A few months back, we posted a quick blurb about Eurostar, a European-based rail service, as offering eco-friendly rail service throughout Europe as an alternative to pricey, “dirty” air travel. Well, it is now official: Eurostar has now begun offering rail service across the Channel from Paris to London in just over 2 hours, becoming the newest rail-development in eco-travel.
Eurostar is basing its environmental campaign on its plans to reduce carbon emission by 25% per journey by 2012.
