Internet Saving Billions in Carbon: Looks like we’re doing something right
A new report from the American Consumer Institute has calculated that within the next 10 years, the world will save roughly 1 billion tons of carbon by operating on the Internet.
Everything from online shopping (e-commerce), telecommuting, teleconferencing and digital arts and literature (movies, books, magazines, newspapers) significantly reduce our carbon use.
