According to a recent poll conducted by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Media, 49% of American adults plan to make their lives greener next year, by reducing energy consumption in their homes, recycling more and easing up on the use of harmful chemicals in their daily lives.
“Green” will be the buzzword of the New Year, says a recent survey of 607 members of the Marketing Executives Networking Group.
Arguably, the most interesting piece is that “younger” people seem to claim “green resolutions” at a higher rate than other age groups. 58% of respondents between 18 and 24 say that they plan to be “greener” for the New Year, as compared to 50% between 50 and 64 and only 40% of respondents age 65 and over.
