Joaquin Phoenix, who also serves as Executive Producer of the upcoming program, met up with the indigenous Yawanawa tribe of the Brazilian Amazon in an effort to call attention to the plight of the Rainforest’s inhabitants.
The eight-part original Canadian series premiered Monday, April 14 at 8 p.m. ET. Other celebrities slated to take part in these specials are celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes, Casey Affleck, and Mos Def.
