HITEC shows off latest and greatest green technologies
The hospitality industry’s latest and most innovative energy management technologies will be on display for visitors at this year’s Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) in Austin, Texas from June 16 to 19.
The hospitality industry’s latest and most innovative energy management technologies will be on display for visitors at this year’s Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) in Austin, Texas from June 16 to 19.
Demonstrations by multiple vendors will be the highlight of the conference, including the web-based WiSuite guestroom energy management system by Energy Authority International (EAI). WiSuite integrates sensing controls with climate control and lighting into a central communication system.
Energy Authority International (EAI) will introduce its Web-based WiSuite guestroom energy management system that uses ZigBee wireless mesh network communication. It combines occupancy sensing controls, digital thermostats and lighting controls into one fully integrated energy management and communication system.
Also featured at HITEC is the all-new Networked Telkonet Smart Energy (NTSE) system by Telkonet, Inc.; an advanced networked energy management system for hotel owners.
Mintek Mobile Data Solutions will showcase WinTrack PMnet, a Web-based system that enables hotel owners and operators to manage assets through their entire life-cycle through five important processes: preventive maintenance, asset management, capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, work orders, and document and contract management.

This is great! I was doing research on how much big businesses can add a lot of pollution to the environment, I’m sure that hotel chains are no different!
