The updated Edge Sleeves I and II are custom fit for the MacBook 13.3″ - MacBook Pro 15.4″ and are available in Jet Black and Steel Blue. Each case serves as a mobile laptop “work in case” station featuring rubber airlifting spacers to help hold your laptop into place.

Most importantly, Brenthaven’s Edge Sleeves (both the current line and the soon to be released updated line) are X-Ray friendly™ and eliminate the process of removing your laptop from the case at airport security checkpoints. The TSA requires that laptops must be viewed in a single x-ray image, that the case must not degrade any visualizations of the laptop, that the laptop is clear and distinguishable from the bag (there are no cords, straps, zippers, etc), and that the laptop is not shielded by any contents of the case. Brenthaven’s Edge sleeves must be unzipped and placed on the conveyer belt in order to be X-Ray friendly™, as this allows for an un-obscured view of the laptop.

The Edge Sleeve comes in two sizes and two colors, Jet Black and Steel Blue. Edge Sleeve I is custom fit for the MacBook 13.3″ ($59.95), Edge Sleeve II is custom fit for the MacBook Pro 15.4″ ($59.95). The Edge Sleeves will be available for purchase starting August 20th, 2008 at www.brenthaven.com and most Apple locations.
