'Living With Ed' host discusses green living

MUSE Elementary presents the sixth installment of the MUSE Speaker Series featuring HGTV’s “Living With Ed” host, ED BEGLEY, JR. on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 4pm - 6pm at the Malibu Performing Arts Center to benefit the MUSE Elementary and MUSE Global Scholarship Funds.

(MUSE Global) - A committed environmentalist for more than thirty years, actor, author, and activist Ed Begley, Jr. will discuss ways to reduce the impact individuals can have on the planet and alternatives to encourage a greener lifestyle. From quick fixes to bigger commitments and long-term strategies, Ed will show how easy it can be to build such changes into everyday life.

And with the holidays right around the corner, Ed will present "Begley’s Best Gift Picks" of the holiday season, provided by Backstage Creations.

General admission — $100 per person; VIP package — $1,000. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Ed Begley, Jr. is a veteran actor who has appeared in numerous film and television roles including Pineapple Express, For Your Consideration, "Arrested Development," "Boston Legal" and can currently be seen on the CBS sitcom "Gary Unmarried". The MUSE Speaker Series provides the opportunity for its attendees to enjoy candid and relaxed evenings with Nobel Peace Prize winners, best-selling authors, humanitarians, educators and celebrated personalities offering profound insights and lively discussion on a wide range of local, global and green topics.
