Miramonte Resort & Spa is launching its “Meetings Stimulus Plan” to attract business travelers to the California desert region. The resort, a property of Destination Hotels & Resorts, participates in “Destination Earth”, the brand’s company-wide environmental preservation effort.
Miramonte Resort & Spa, a Destination Hotels & Resorts property, introduces the Meeting Stimulus Plan; a value-oriented menu of meeting allowances for groups. This creative list of “business relief” savings options is geared toward helping companies plan and execute meetings without worrying about negatively impacting the bottom line.
“We understand that coming together is a critical component to the success of your organization,” says Director of Sales Chris Kandziora. “Meetings are a necessity for business growth and continued success, and we recognize that value is critical especially during the current economic climate.”
The Meeting Stimulus Plan is simple to book and utilize from an array of creative “business relief” savings options, including complimentary breakfasts, “themed” breaks, welcome receptions, and more. The Meeting Stimulus Plan must be booked before August 31, 2009 with the event happening between February 15, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
Miramonte Resort & Spa, located in desert community of Indian Wells (near Palm Springs), is the premier place for meetings and groups in the California desert region. With more than 18,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, accommodating groups from 10 to 500 people, this luxury resort is home to some of the finest meeting facilities in California. It is one of more than 30 independent, upscale hotels, resorts and conference centers by Destination Hotels & Resorts, the fourth largest independent hospitality management company in the country.
To protect and preserve the unique communities in which the company operates, Destination launched “Destination Earth”, an environmental sustainability program in 2008. New to the program is the 582-room Terranea Resort, situated on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in southern California – a 102-acre ocean front resort will feature a 25,000-square-foot destination spa, three swimming pools, three restaurants and a Todd Eckenrode-designed par three golf course.
Destination Earth creates a baseline standard of sustainable practices for the company’s hotels, condominiums and private residences while encouraging individual properties to be innovative in their operations. As properties reach various stages in their implementation, new levels of green business practices are identified and outlined for the collection. All properties are encouraged to be resourceful in indentifying and implementing green practices that are relevant to their operation and community.
Destination Earth was developed in recognition of the need to preserve the world in which Destination Hotels & Resorts operates and serves its guests. The company is dedicated to practices and programs that pay respect to and lessen its footprint on the changing environment. Destination Hotels & Resorts recognizes that its customers, owners and associates all benefit from and desire a healthy, sustainable environment. As the company continues on the journey of environmental stewardship, it is committed to maintaining the superior guest experience that customers have come to expect while reducing impact on the earth’s natural resources.
Destination also operates properties in key metropolitan areas and resort markets including Washington, D.C., Denver, San Diego, Santa Fe, Aspen, Palm Springs, Houston and Lake Tahoe. Destination is a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based investment, development and management firm Lowe Enterprises.
