Boutique adventure travel firm Tomgirl Tours is offering three separate itineraries for its new White Mountain Adventure tour; two-day all-inclusive trips for women including a zip-line excursion through the New Hampshire forest and indoor sky diving lessons.
Tomgirl Tours is known for catering to energetic and active women seeking adventure experiences.
Combining adrenaline-pumping experiences with relaxing activities and upscale accommodations, the White Mountains Adventure tours provide both outdoor and indoor adventure; a perfect getaway for the growing number of adventure-seeking tourists who, according to the Adventure Travel Trade Association, are increasingly seeking short-duration adventure travel trips and looking to remain in the United States, rather than venturing abroad.
The adventures include a zip line canopy tour, an indoor wind tunnel sky diving experience and a breath-taking guided hike through the pristine mountain side.
“Our White Mountains Adventure tours give women a chance to experience a unique mix of adventure, all in a thoughtfully planned package,” says Tomgirl Tours’ founder and CEO Lori Carr. “The tours pay special attention to travelers’ safety with trained and experienced guides, and to their comfort with gorgeous upscale accommodations and comfortable transportation to all activities.”
To balance these exhilarating activities, White Mountains Adventure tours are set at the region’s premiere North Conway Grand Hotel and Resort, site of a special reception and dinner where guests will sample savory local cuisine.
The tours are running Sept. 13 – 14, Oct. 4 – 5 and Nov. 29 – 30.
Along with the White Mountains Adventure tours, Tomgirl Tours’ 2009 packages include Savory City – Providence, weekend culinary tours in Rhode Island; St. John Sojourn, an outdoor eco-adventure in the U.S. Virgin Islands; and Red Rock Rendezvous, a weeklong excursion in spectacular Sedona, Ariz.
