The popular “green” hotel brand has officially been named as a Travel + Leisure Global Vision Award Winner. The Awards, now in the fifth year, recognize the latest and best efforts at cultural preservation, environmental conservation, and community building as selected by a jury of eight members including Dan Barber, Céline Simone Cousteau, Bruce Mau, and Dr. Joseph E. It's inspiring to see how the "green" movement in hospitality is growing and gaining momentum as the travel and hospitality industries try to navigate through the economic downturn. Congratulations to Element, and we look forward to seeing more and more hotels honored for their environmental practices through awards such as T+L's Global Vision award and through LEED certifications.
