Biolandhaus Arche
Biolandhaus Arche was the first organic hotel in Carinthia and the first eco hotel in Austria. Tasty wholefood from organic production. In summer, vegetables are fresh from our garden, in winter from our basement, straight to the plate without any loss of vitamins. We offer a new vegetarian menu each day. Our food is delicately flavoured and impresses everyone, even those not used to wholefood cuisine. Massive wood furnished rooms built according to biological construction criteria. Enjoy walking and riding, the sound of silence, swimming in the open air pool built in terraces in the neighbouring village, the marvellous 100km panorama view over half of Carinthia. It's a paradise for kids in these sunny mountains.
Haus Troth
Haus Troth is a comfortable, friendly, family run English speaking bed and breakfast. We offer 100% seasonal organic food using local and regional products. Preference is given to seasonal produce. Sustainable energy sources (wood, solar and local hydro-electric). Accommodation is one twin and one double using organic bedlinen, towels and soap. Situated in wide valley within easy reach of countryside (twelve minutes walk), mountains and lakes. Excellent for walking, skiing, cycling, and a wide range of other outdoor activities. The region is 40% organic with mountain pastures and valley meadows. There are organic shops selling seasonal and regional products and a weekly farmers' market in summer.
